Origins

Formed by hand with the nerikomi technique, each ceramic egg is inflated, carved and burnished. Resting on black sand within a bent wooden tray inspired by Hakata Magemono tradition, they are arranged like stones in a Zen garden, inviting reflection. Eggs range approximately: 1″-2″ diameter × 1.5″-3.5″ long.
