Karnapidasana

While folded like a human origami in Karnapidasana, the idea wiggled its way in—hence the title. This poplar woodblock carving, embossed and printed in limited edition on Kitakata paper, was created for the Wharton Esherick Museum’s “Poplar Culture” exhibit. Framed in American black walnut.
